In Sabae, a town with a 1,500-year legacy of Echizen lacquerware, a woodworking brand named Hacoa was born in 2001, building on the foundation of a workshop established in 1962. Inheriting time-honored woodcraft techniques, we handcraft wooden items that respond to the needs of the times. Rooted in the craftsmanship of Echizen, our warm, thoughtful designs are made to gently accompany modern life. With every piece, we continue to share the quiet beauty of handwork with the world.
