The craftsmanship of Wakayama, where the spirit of the community is dyed into every piece.

For more than a hundred years, Somemichi Dye Works has quietly carried the threads of tradition in Gobō, Wakayama—a land where festivals bloom and prayers linger in the air. Each banner, noren, and happi is dyed by hand, one by one, with care and reverence. Woven into every piece are the joys of the people, their hopes, their gratitude whispered to the wind. Rooted in the past, we continue to walk forward—seeking new colors, new forms, for the next hundred years.
