昭和34年の創業以来、一貫して曲げわっぱをつくり続けてきました。素材を選び、木を曲げ、桜皮を縫い、底を入れる——すべての工程を職人が担い、今もなお、人の手のぬくもりが息づいています。道具としての美しさと、日々の暮らしに寄り添うかたちを探しながら。
Odate is a town nurtured by Akita cedar, where the gentle scent of wood still lingers in the air.
With quiet, deliberate craftsmanship, the cedar is shaved, bent, and bound—becoming tools that live alongside daily life.
Since our founding in 1959, we have been dedicated to crafting magewappa bentwoodware. From selecting the wood, bending it, stitching with cherry bark, to fitting the base—every step is carried out by skilled artisans. The warmth of the human hand still lives in each piece, as we continue to seek forms that embody both functional beauty and harmony with everyday living.

会場ブースでは、「体験キット」を使って曲げわっぱづくりを体験できます。職人が丁寧にサポートするため、初めての方でも安心してご参加いただけます。自らの手で仕上げる工程を通して、ものづくりの楽しさや伝統技術、使い方まで学べる貴重な機会です。ブース内では、職人が手がけた多彩な曲げわっぱ製品の販売も行っています。体験と購入、どちらもお楽しみください。
At our booth, you can experience the process of making magewappa using a hands-on kit. Skilled artisans will guide you through each step, making it easy and enjoyable even for first-time participants. As you finish the piece with your own hands, you'll gain insight into the joy of craftsmanship, traditional techniques, and how to care for the item. A variety of beautifully crafted magewappa products made by artisans are also available for purchase. We invite you to enjoy both the making and the shopping experience.
